Depression is more than sadness. It can look like emptiness, exhaustion, loss of interest in things you used to enjoy, difficulty concentrating, or a heavy sense that nothing quite matters. Sometimes there’s an obvious trigger — a loss, a transition, burnout — and sometimes it settles in without a clear reason.
Therapy offers a space to understand your depression rather than just push through it. Together we explore the underlying feelings, relationships, and patterns that contribute to it, while also building practical ways to care for yourself day to day. My stance is relational, warm, and challenging: I’ll support you and also gently encourage you to look at what’s hard.
Many clients come to feel more connected to themselves and others, recover a sense of purpose, and experience real relief from the symptoms that have been weighing them down.
I’m a California- and Oregon-licensed clinical psychologist offering telehealth therapy, so we can work together from anywhere in either state.
